Lo más recomendable es poner atención en pequeños detalles como, si tienes una figura ovalada lo mejor es usar cinturones estrechos para marcar la cintura, si eres delgada te vendrán bien los cinturones más anchos para acentuar la división entre la cintura y las caderas
SI lo usas por arriba de la cintura estarás dando una toque delicado, si lo usas a nivel de cadera estilizaras todo tu cuerpo.
Ten cuidado de no ajustar demasiado el cinturón ya que podrías provocar que se marque la zona de tejido adiposo (llantitas, lonjas, etc.), lo ideal siempre será que uses ropa a la medida y el cinturón debe de ir a la misma forma. Pero en el caso que uses abrigos o vestidos amplios podrías aliarte de un cinturón para marcar la forma del cuerpo poniéndolo a la altura indicada y del ancho según como ya lo describimos anteriormente
