Quizas alguna vez has escuchado comentarios sobre la teoría que señala que vestir prendas con líneas verticales hacía lucir más delgada, restándole mérito a las rayas horizontales.
Pero un grupo de investigadores de la Universidad de York, Inglaterra, ha demostrado que la ropa con líneas verticales crea la ilusión de un cuerpo más voluminoso.
Asi lo dió a conocer el diario británico “The Times” en donde los científicos usaron 200 pares de fotografías de mujeres vestidas con prendas de rayas verticales y horizontales. Luego preguntaron a un grupo de voluntarios que indicara aquella mujer de cada par que consideraba más delgada.
Sorprendentemente los resultados revelaron que las mujeres que vestían prendas con líneas horizontales fueron las elegidas como las más delgadas, con una diferencia de seis puntos porcentuales. Pero esto no es cosa nueva.
Un cientifico aleman, Hermman von Helmholtz , en 1860 demostró como las prendas a rayas horizontales eran más favorables para las mujeres para que se vean más altas.
Entonces, lo mejor es usar ropa con estampados de rayas horizontales. Por supuesto que esta ropa no hará milagros. Si estas “llenita” podrías disimular un poco esos excesos. Pero lo mas recomendable es hacer ejercicio. Y cuentanos: ¿Alguna vez te has sentido más gorda al llevar prendas de rayas verticales? O por el contrario, ¿Te viste más delgada con ropa a rayas horizontales?
